What does a micro-credential mean?

A micro-credential is a standardized certificate that validates the acquisition of a specific skill by a learner after completing a limited amount of learning, typically requiring between 7 and 30 hours of estimated work time on a given topic.

The validation process generally involves a supervised final exam.

Micro-credentials are issued and recognized by partner universities under the UniCamp brand.
